As a PMI (small/medium company), we know perfectly well that we do not have the power, alone, to change the world and the current situation of climate change.
But at the same time, we firmly believe that if we do nothing, nothing will change.
And if we all thought the same way, all small and medium companies, together, could save our precious and sick planet.
For this reason, in August 2022, we increased the number of photovoltaic panels at our new production site. This will allow us to produce our lines and machineries without CO2 emissions into the environment, fighting at the forefront of the fight against global warming.
By exploiting the energy of the Italian sun and transforming it into electricity, our implemented photovoltaic system will not produce any kind of pollution. And thanks to the possibility of injecting the unused surplus into the public grid, other people will also be able to benefit from renewable energy produced in a green and sustainable way. This will help to limit CO2 emissions into the atmosphere even by other users who in fact do not have the possibility of producing energy in a green way.
Thanks to our photovoltaic system, we avoided emitting 97,641.41 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere, equal to 2914.3 trees planted. But these data, more than a boast and a merit of Gorreri Company, should be a wake-up call, because they make us understand how many CO2 emissions are emitted by all those who do not produce energy in a green way.
Our commitment in saving this planet does not end here.
We have installed filtered water dispensers to reduce the consumption of plastic bottles, which also means reducing the transport of goods by road and installed electric hand dryers to reduce the consumption of paper. Furthermore, the creation of an internal company canteen has made it possible to avoid that our workers must use their cars every day to reach external canteens and restaurants.
And for the near future we are already thinking about company electric cars and the installation of charging stations for employees 'and customers' cars.
Because we want this land to continue to inspire us.
These actions will benefit everyone, in environmental, health and economic terms. This is the reason why we all must understand that we have the duty to act, because there is no planet B.
